Opportunities for Leadership Development at ECU
Students are strongly encouraged to supplement their academic study with leadership experiences that are available both on-and off-campus. These might include leadership positions in student organizations, training programs offered by the Division of Student Affairs, community engagement activities and internships, all of which are important ways for students to observe what they have learned in their classes and begin to develop their own leadership style and skills. The Leadership Studies Program collaborates with the Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement to promote these opportunities for students
